PHILIPPINES: Site of Christ’s Return and Headquarters of God’s Kingdom

Why Philippines?

Christ returns to earth in the same way He departed into the sky. There was no mention of specific location on earth upon which He returns. But with all reasonable indications, Christ “touch-down” on Philippine soils, not Israel! There are several reasons why Christ lands on Philippine soils when He comes back, not Israel!

How Did Christ Depart from this World?

” . . . This Jesus, who was received up from you into the sky will come back in the same way as you saw him going into the sky” (Acts 1:11, WEB). Read more from World English Bible.

Spiritual Country

The Angels were not privy in regard to place of return since the people then were completely unprepared, if not impossible, to grasp events and incidences taking place over the thousands years passing time yet ahead of them until Christ returns.

However, as to why God prefers the Philippines – now at this time a choice for “spiritual country” as the Site of Christ’s Return – God has many reasons.

  The MAN of Isaiah 53

“ . . . . hath no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.  He was despised, and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:2-5, ASV). Emphasis supplied.
